An exercise in subtlety, Driftwood is a coastal retreat that says more with less. We aimed to perfectly execute the materiality as weathered by sun and sea air. The same wood ages differently depending on the application, and it was important to be honest to the material given the unique nature of the site. The landscape is windswept and wild, a juxtaposition to the fine lines of the architecture.
